Fashion has gone a good distance from being defined just by the clothes and accessories that a lady wears. It is now a multi-million dollar industry that electrifies artists, dress makers, visionaries, models and innovators in making everyday what we call current day sculptures. A dress isn’t just a dress ; a complete story revolves around its existence. A straightforward black dress can do wonders for the body of a lady if she knows the proper way to accentuate it in a proper way.

In the 1950′s the smart, well-groomed look was the trend. Women were predicted to do well in their field ; there was a perfectionist sense of style that pervaded the age. We will learn plenty about the way in which the girls went about with their lives by the garments that they wore during a specific era.
In the 1960s ladies voiced more of themselves, floral patterns and polka dot designs emerged, they were braver and more audacious. Life sprang from the attire that they wore ; yellow and green was courageously spread on the patterns.

Women during that era where starting to generate ideas on how to massively change their life by coming up with brave statements in the attire and accessories that they wore. It was a protest against the former sort of attire seen in the Renaissance. The wide cut and outline was to rebel against close fitting bodice and sleeves a lady had to wear during the middle ages. It was not to say that Renaissance fashion was not
inventive by itself. Designers had just figured out a way to make women’s fashion easier and more up to date, to match the ever changing economy and line of roles girls undertook in society. In 1972 the time law was passed in the US stating that ladies and men should be handled similarly by law.

The 1970s was the era of women’s liberation. From 1970 to 1979, the quantity of girls signed up to colleges increased. For the first time more ladies were enrolled than men in the US The 1970s started the costume history of fashion, girls could opt to dress up and bring to life the characters they dreamt of becoming.

The 1980s greatest influence was Madonna, with girls looking up to her. Madonna’s hair and make -up was a definite style in the 1980s. During the 1990s women’s fashion became more casual and free, with jeans and loose shirts. Ladies rushed to salons to have the Rachel haircut popularized by Jennifer Aniston. Navel piercing also became a part of women’s fashion. A stronger sense of style was needed to keep up with the changing mindset of teens.

Men’s clothes were also experimented by ladies to create a stronger look, the polo and skin tight jeans were seen everywhere. America and Europe electrified the clothes that ladies wore all around the globe. Today women’s fashion would change from the mood and image that they would like to portray. Vocalist and composer woman Gaga dared to portray the wacky and bizarre style that only a few dare to try. A lady can now create her very own look. The greatest genius that women’s fashion could teach a woman is to wear how she wants to be perceived and validate it with her actions.

Mischa Barton, Nicole Ritchie, Dakota Fanning, Sienna Miller, they are only some of many hollywood celebrities whose fashion sense surprises us and whose wardrobe we might love like to have even simply for a day. ( Wishful thinking here. )
They look breathtakingly attractive which leaves us wondering, how do they find a way to do it? Don a rather simple shirt or unusual looking pants, whichever piece they feel just like wearing, and make it a signature piece and that makes them fashion goddesses?

Is their technique of wearing their attire the key? Perhaps they have a ritual they conscientiously follow. Do they wear it upside down? Or from the legs to the head? Sounds improbable. Think harder, do they have it blessed? Or prayed over even? No, no much too extreme .

Fashion blogs! Fashion websites! Perhaps they do a bit of research on what colours look good together and what pieces complement each other?
